Friendly staff and a beautiful location on the lake.

Prices, completely overpriced, poor taste. Leberkasesemmel tasted like nothing. Prices change just like that. French fries € 3 then € 3.50. Steak roll very small, only € 3.50 was ok. The next day € 5.50 then € 5 again. Portions are also very small for the prices.

Nice view over the Heimstettener See. Fresh mackerel is also grilled next to it. The sausage salad was rather disappointing.

Unfortunately, we have to agree with the previous speakers! As long-term regular guests, we have always enjoyed the personal and nice atmosphere in the beer garden. The food was of good quality and the prices were moderate. Since the new tenant took over the beer garden, nothing is right anymore! The prices for food and drinks have increased noticeably (beer 3.90!). Unfortunately, that's not all. For the money you get served and ordered around unfriendly! You get the feeling that the staff have no interest in the guests. The food is of poor quality (for example, the large pretzel had freezer burn and was totally dry, the advertised Fiji burger has nothing to do with a pulled pork burger). In the end the metal cutlery ran out, so the guests got plastic cutlery. By the way, that wasn't just once, we observed it on several evenings. Today we said goodbye to our very popular beer garden and will visit another restaurant in the future! Really a shame, because friendliness and a smile fortunately cost no money!

The food was a disaster, or not available at all. Instead of the usual french fries and sausages, I wanted to order something else, but I was told that the food had not yet been delivered. It either comes at 12, 1 p.m. or in the afternoon. One can completely forget that. The people all came with face masks, but the toilet paper was missing. I'd rather go to another lake.

We were regulars in the beer garden at Heimstettener See until a year ago. On Friday we were back for the first time this year. I ordered two pairs of Viennese, which was a problem because of my lack of knowledge of German, and then I got the sausages. 2 of the 4 sausages were torn open, all were lukewarm .......... Why do all beer gardens in Bavaria have to record personal data in writing or with a registration app, but not the beer garden at Heimstettener See?

Unfortunately not recommended at all since the tenant has changed. Corona: I was shocked how the state hygiene regulations were ignored in many ways. Mouth and nose protection was worn by the food counter below the chin, customers were served without this protection, the guests in the seating area were not recorded and the distribution was organized in such a way that a minimum distance between those waiting was not possible at all was (there were always about 10 people waiting at the same time, who were then all to wait in the corner next door, right next to the queue for the other guests - distances of more than 50cm were no longer possible). The quality of the food is not at all convincing, but only good for not being hungry afterwards. Greasy, tasteless and then still cold. The prices are far too high for this circumstance. The employees I dealt with had neither a "hello" nor a "goodbye", neither pro nor reactive. Conclusion: the Heimstettener See is beautiful and I will continue to be a regular visitor. In future, however, I will avoid the kiosk as well.

Overall ok. Quite expensive, beer for 3.90 is just too much.

Very good place for the family to eat.

Chosen as a lunch stop while traveling from Dresden to Fiè in South Tyrol. A relaxing hour with iced coffee and children's dishes, the best nice alternative to any full rest areas. Great new playground for mini.

Good protection against corona. Solid prices 😊

Nice beer garden. Weird, older tattooed audience. Corona requirements are ignored. No registration, hardly anyone wears a mask. The landlord seems to care. #Covidians

Good for a quick bite or a cold drink while visiting the lake. Don't expect something special.

Unfortunately I can not say anything positive and can only advise everyone to keep the receipt for the return of the deposit. There is a systematic attempt to give people back too little deposit. If you complain, the employees immediately become personal and threaten.

Currywurst ordered to take away. What did i get. A Thuringian bratwurst with hardly any sauce. And the best thing was that there was no cutlery. Just a pickser. I expect a kiosk by the lake to provide better takeaway facilities. And maybe ask beforehand what kind of sausage you want. Product quality is ok. The best thing about the kiosk is the lake.

The beer garden is very well visited here, connector fish is also offered. Bathers in sparse clothing need getting used to. But ok, we are at the lake. The toilet is also cleaner, like the years before.

Love this place. Great little Beergarden at the lake with draft Ayinger Kellerbier. Perfect place to hang out after work during the summer time.

Good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Large beer garden with lots of sun and shade right on Lake Heimstetter

Perfect place for relaxing

Food is just ok, nothing special, but the location is very nice: 30m from the lake, with several tables under the trees. Enjoyable.

Great card. Food tastes good. Friendly service. Beer garden very cozy. Price Munich level.

Your average lake side imbiss. Good variety of food from sandwiches to schnitzel. Its self service. And reasonable prices. Good choice for drinks too. In summer there is live bbq smoked fish and/or rotary chicken. Its your typical beer garten, so one can bring their own food here. But drinks has to be bought from them.

Mega chillig.

Nice little lake, but the slopes are too steep, the train line is too close to be able to relax, and there is no sand beach for the children to play at. If you have at all the chance, drive to the close-by Feringa See which has everything that Heimstettener See has - but about twice as nice. Nonetheless, a nice place to relax for an afternoon and grab a beer in the beer garden.
